Water...
An Essential Nutrient
![]()
We have more water than anything else in the human body. Like the oxygen you breathe, you can't live without it.
On average, a body has about 10 to 12 gallons of water.
What does water do in your body?
*Water helps keep your body temperature at 98.6 degrees.
*Water carries nutrients and oxygen to your body cells and takes waste products away.
*Water cushions your joints and protects your body organs and tissues.
*Water makes up your fluid, saliva juices, blood and urine.
